On 27th October 2022, Xiaomi announced Redmi Note 12 Discovery Edition smartphone. There is a 6.67-inch OLED touchscreen with a 120 Hz refresh rate that offers a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels (FHD+) and an aspect ratio of 20:9. It comes with 8GB of RAM. A 4300mAh battery powers the Redmi Note 12 Discovery Edition, which runs Android 12.
On the rear, the Redmi Note 12 Discovery Edition packs a triple camera setup that includes a 200-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. A 16-megapixel sensor is featured on the front camera for selfies.
The device boasts a 210-watt fast charging which can charge the phone from 0-100 in just under 10 minutes and the fast charger is also present in the box. And with MediaTek Dimensity 1080 powering the phone it also supports dual 5G.
Based on Android 12, the Redmi Note 12 Discovery Edition runs MIUI 13 and offers 256GB of internal storage. In terms of height, width, and thickness, the Redmi Note 12 Discovery Edition measures 162.90 x 76.00 x 8.98mm and weighs 207.50 grams.
The smartphone is yet to be announced for Indian markets, but it is estimated to be launched at a price of around 27000 RS.
