Poco recently launched its budget-oriented phone POCO M5. It was launched on September 5th, 2022, with a starting price of Rs. 12,499. The phone comes with a 6.58-inch 90 Hz FHD+ display with 2400 X 1080-pixel resolution and there’s also Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
The smartphone comes with MediaTek Helio G99 SoC Octa-Core (2.2 GHz, Dual Core + 2 GHz, Hexa Core) and with 4 GB & 6GB LPDDR4X RAM options along with 64GB & 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage with can be expanded up to 512GB. There’s also support for Turbo RAM that extends the RAM capacity by 2GB by utilizing idle storage. However, it is only available on the 128GB storage option.
Poco M5 comes with a triple camera setup that includes a 64 MP Primary Camera, 2 MP Ultra-Wide-Angle Camera, and a 2 MP Macro Camera with 4K @30 fps recording. On the front, we have a 13 MP Wide Angle Lens with Full HD @30 fps Video Recording.
The Poco M5 comes with a 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging support. However, Poco has bundled a 22.5W charger in the box. Other key features of the smartphone include an IP52 rating for dust and water resistance, a 2+1 MicroSD card slot, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
