Nothing phone 1 comes with 6.55” single punch hole FULL HD+ IPS Oled display with Recycled Aluminium frame at the back. The smartphone has a thickness of 8.3mm and 193.5 gm of weight. Also, this smartphone comes with Glyph interface & LED strips at the back & with gorilla glass protection and has ip53 rating. Also, you can control the brightness of the LED strips.
Connectivity & Features:
Nothing phone 1 comes with Bluetooth v5.2 , wi-fi 6 , 4G+ carrier Aggregiation , 4*4 MEMO , Multiple 5G Bands , Wide Vine L1 , camera to API , 10 point multitouch support and Under display fingerprint sensor . For audio it has Dual stereo speakers & 3 high definition mic . The smartphone has a feature called ‘flip to glyph’ so ,whenever you turn the phone upside down it automatically goes into the silent mode , and whenever you pick up the phone it automatically goes into the normal mode with a haptic feedback , which feels really cool .
Software & Performance:
Nothing phone 1 comes with Stock Android 12 clean UI & Qualcum Snapdragon 778 G+ processor. Since this processor is based on 6nm technology which is very power efficient. It has scored above 600k in Antutu score test. The smartphone performs well while gaming and multitasking. You’ll love the performance and the battery backup.
Battery & Display:
Nothing phone 1 comes with 4500mah battery and 33w fast charging which can fully charge your smartphone within 70mins. It comes with 15w wireless charging and 5w reverse charging support.
The smartphone has 6.55” Full HD+ 10 bit oled display. The display has 120 Hz refresh rate, 240 Hz touch sampling rate and 1200 nits pick brightness. It comes with Corning gorilla glass protection and has support to HDR 10+ and 10 Bit color depth.
The display you get here is very impressive and also the screen to body ratio is quite impressive. you won’t be disappointed with its display and battery.
Camera:
Rear:

With its rear camera you would be able to do video recording upto 4k @30fps and FULL HD @60fps. It has features like night mode, HDR, Macro (4cm).
Front:
The smartphone comes with 16 MP selfie camera with f/2.45 Aperture, and it has SONY IMX471 sensor. With selfie camera you can do video recording upto FULL HD @ 30fps.
So, talking about the camera quality, it is actually awesome, and it takes good pictures in both the conditions night and day, with more natural tone, less noise and a little enhanced brightness. Bokeh shots are also good.

Pros:
- Display is amazing , however it stands in little warmer side
- Software experience and performance is fast & smooth
- Camera quality is really awesome
- Regular security updates to fix the issues and that’s a good thing to see from a new smartphone company
Cons:
- After 2 or 3 updates it’s performance has been reduced , however you won’t feel any lag while gaming , multitasking or in doing your daily tasks
- Selfie camera should have support to 4k video recording
- Sometimes you may see call drop issues , although it depends on your network service provider too.
Conclusion:
With looking at its specifications, performance, display & camera, it won’t be a bad decision to go with this smartphone. It’s their first product and we should not judge them very early however it would be good for us if they keep the price a bit aggressive.
