Jio launched its latest budget smartphone ‘Jio Phone Next’ on 4th November which is to be sold at a price of Rs 4,399. Featuring a 5.45-inch touchscreen display with a 60 Hz refresh rate and 720X1400 pixels resolution, the phone has 18:9 aspect ratio. Jio Phone Next comes with Gorilla glass protection on the display. Powering the Jio Phone Next is a Qualcomm 215 quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM. A 3500mAh mattery powers the device.
It has a single front facing camera, which offers an 8-megapixel sensor, and a 13-megapixel camera on the rear.
Powered by Pragati OS, the Jio Phone Next has 16GB of internal storage and can be expanded up to 512GB with a microSD card. In addition to accepting Nano-SIM cards, the Jio Phone Next is dual-SIM (GSM and GSM).
A number of connectivity options are supported by the Jio Phone Next, including Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth v4.0, Micro-USB, as well as 3G and 4G (which supports Band 40, which is used by some LTE networks in India). Among the phone’s sensors are an accelerometer, a light sensor, and a proximity sensor.
