Set up offline UPI payments

  1. Before you Dial *99# make sure that you are using same number to make this call that has been linked to your bank account and mobile number must be registered with UPI otherwise this service won’t work.
  2. Now, choose your desired language and enter your bank name.
  3. You will be shown a list of bank accounts that are linked to your mobile number, so choose the one that you want to use
  4. Now, enter the last 6 digits of your debit card alongside the expiry date of your debit card.
  5. Done, now you can make UPI payments without an Internet connection

Make offline UPI payments

  1. Dial *99# on your smartphone and enter 1 to send money.
  2. Choose your desired option and enter either UPI ID, phone number, bank account number of the person you want to send money.
  3. Then, enter the amount and then enter your UPI PIN.
  4. Once your payment will be successfully made, you will be charged maximum of Rs. 0.50 per transaction

Currently, the maximum limit of this service is Rs. 5,000 per transaction.
